  • Powdered sugar – 1 cup
  • Vanilla extract – 1 teaspoon
  • White chocolate or candy melts – 8 ounces (for coating)
  • Sprinkles or colored sugar – optional, for decorating

Instructions

  1. Soften store-bought dough to room temperature or ensure homemade sugar cookie dough is chilled but pliable.
  2. Combine softened sugar cookie dough, softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix thoroughly until smooth.
  3. Using a small cookie scoop, portion balls and roll between palms. Place on a parchment-lined tray and chill for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Melt white chocolate or candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
  5. Using a fork, coat each chilled truffle in the melted coating. Tap off excess chocolate.
