Ingredients
Scale
- 2 large sweet onions
- 2 Tablespoons butter divided
- 2 teaspoons chili onion crunch
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon paprika (smoked or regular)
- 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
- 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning blend
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning blend
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.

- In a small microwave-safe bowl, melt the remaining 1 tablespoon of butter. Add chili onion crunch, minced garlic, paprika, Old Bay seasoning, Cajun seasoning, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper into the melted butter.
- Pour the mixture evenly over the two onions, filling the center wells and spreading some over the sides.
- Wrap each onion tightly in foil and place them in a baking dish.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until fork-tender, checking every 10 minutes if necessary.
- Peel the foil back from the top of the onions and add more melted butter and seasonings if desired.
- Optional: Set the oven to broil and broil the onions for 2-3 minutes to caramelize the top.
