Description

Honey-Garlic Glazed Salmon is a simple yet elegant dish featuring tender, flaky salmon fillets coated in a glossy, flavorful glaze made from honey, garlic, soy sauce, and lemon juice.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 skin-on salmon fillets (wild-caught recommended, about 6 oz each)
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • Red pepper flakes, a pinch (for spice)
  • Chili paste or sriracha (alternative spicy kick)
  • Fresh thyme or rosemary, for garnish
  • Chopped parsley or cilantro, for garnish
  • Toasted sesame seeds, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Pat salmon fillets dry with paper towels and season lightly with freshly ground black pepper to help the glaze adhere and ensure a crisp skin.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, and lemon juice until smooth and well combined to create the signature glaze.
  3. Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Place salmon fillets skin-side down and cook for 4-5 minutes until the skin turns crispy and golden brown.
  4. Gently flip the salmon and immediately spoon the honey-garlic glaze over the fillets. Cook for another 3-4 minutes, spooning the glaze over the salmon periodically to build layers of flavor and a shiny coating.
  5. Once the salmon is cooked through and beautifully glazed, remove from heat. Optionally, squeeze additional fresh lemon juice over the top for a bright finish before serving.
