Description

Cajun Steak Tips in Cheesy Rigatoni Parmesan Sauce is a quick and delicious meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb. steak tips (sirloin or ribeye)
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 12 oz. rigatoni pasta
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Toss the steak tips with Cajun seasoning in a bowl until evenly coated. Let them marinate for about 10 minutes.
  2. In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the rigatoni and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the steak tips and sear for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until cooked to your desired doneness. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream, salt, and black pepper. Stir well and bring to a simmer.
  5. Gradually add the Parmesan and mozzarella cheese to the cream mixture, stirring until melted and smooth.
  6. Add the cooked rigatoni and seared steak tips to the sauce. Toss to coat the pasta and steak evenly with the cheesy sauce.
  7. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving for a burst of color and flavor.
