Cajun Steak Tips in Cheesy Rigatoni Parmesan Sauce is a quick and delicious meal.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb. steak tips (sirloin or ribeye)
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 12 oz. rigatoni pasta
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Toss the steak tips with Cajun seasoning in a bowl until evenly coated. Let them marinate for about 10 minutes.
- In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the rigatoni and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the steak tips and sear for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until cooked to your desired doneness. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream, salt, and black pepper. Stir well and bring to a simmer.
- Gradually add the Parmesan and mozzarella cheese to the cream mixture, stirring until melted and smooth.
- Add the cooked rigatoni and seared steak tips to the sauce. Toss to coat the pasta and steak evenly with the cheesy sauce.
- Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving for a burst of color and flavor.
