- 1 ½ cups mashed ripe bananas (about 4 medium bananas)
- ½ cup light brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 ½ cups white whole wheat flour
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- Melt the unsalted butter in a small saucepan over medium-low heat until it turns golden brown. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine mashed bananas, light brown sugar, and browned butter. Whisk until smooth, then add the egg and vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together ground cinnamon, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the banana mixture.
- Gently fold in the white whole wheat flour until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 45–55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Allow to cool in the pan for 15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
