  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup oats
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, cold

Instructions

  1. Rinse the berries and pat them dry. In a large bowl, gently toss the berries with granulated sugar, lemon juice, and all-purpose flour to evenly coat.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, oats, cinnamon, and salt. Cut in the cold unsalted butter until the mixture becomes crumbly.
  3. Pour the berry mixture into a greased baking dish or pie pan. Evenly spread the crumble topping over the berries.
  4. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake the assembled pie for 40 to 45 minutes until the topping is golden brown.
  5. Allow the pie to cool for at least 20 minutes to set the filling.
