Description
Beefy Melt Burrito: An Incredible Ultimate Recipe to Savor
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1 cup salsa
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- ¼ cup chopped green onions
- Olive oil (for cooking)
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat a tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Sprinkle the taco seasoning over the beef. Stir well to coat and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
- Warm the flour tortillas in a microwave for about 15-20 seconds, making them easier to roll.
- On each tortilla, spread a layer of salsa, followed by a generous portion of the cooked beef. Add shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese on top.
- Layer diced tomatoes, shredded lettuce, and chopped green onions over the cheese for added freshness.
- Fold in the sides of the tortilla and then roll it up tightly from the bottom to the top, securing the filling inside.
- In the same skillet, place the rolled burritos seam-side down. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
- Plate the burritos and serve with a side of sour cream and additional salsa for dipping.
