Ingredients

  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, diced
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ½ cup white chocolate chips (optional, for drizzling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Gently fold in the diced strawberries and semi-sweet chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  7. Using a cookie scoop, drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.
  8. Place in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  9. Remove from the oven and allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 10 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
