- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the Berry Compote: In a small saucepan, combine the mixed berries, sugar, lemon juice, cornstarch, and water. Cook over medium heat until the berries release their juices and the mixture thickens slightly, about 5-7 minutes. Stir in the vanilla extract and remove from heat.
- Prepare the Brie: If using puff pastry, roll it out on a lightly floured surface. Place the Brie in the center of the pastry.
- Wrap the Brie (optional): Fold the pastry over the Brie, pinching the edges to seal it completely. Brush with an egg wash for a golden finish, if desired.
- Bake: Place the wrapped Brie (or unwrapped, if you prefer) on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, until the cheese is soft and the pastry is golden brown, if used.

- Garnish: Sprinkle with fresh mint, if desired, for an extra pop of color and flavor.
